Could a Mathematical Model Determine Whether Coronavirus Preventative Measures Work?

Engineers at Princeton and Carnegie Mellon led by H. Vincent Poor, professor of electrical engineering at Princeton, have developed a mathematical modeling approach to help understand COVID-19, predict its spread, and provide guidelines on what can be done to limit the spread. Both universities are members of the DTI consortium, and the project was funded by DTI.
