NCSA Announces New Supercomputing Resources

C3 DTI Partner NCSA – the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – announces three new systems coming online in 2022: Delta, Nightingale, and HOLL-I.

Delta: With 2021’s retirement of NCSA’s powerhouse, Blue Waters, 2022 has launched an all-new supercomputer housed at UIUC’s National Petascale Computing Facility.

Nightingale: A powerful HPC cluster provides clinical partners with massive storage and Soc2-Type2-certified, HIPAA-compliant GPU/CPU infrastructure.

HOLL-I: NCSA’s new Highly Optimized Logical Learning Instrument is designed as a dedicated resource for AI-related algorithms.
